Innocence tangled with arrogance grows,
Love walks with violence wherever it goes.
Truth wears a mask, illusion its twin,
A battle of echoes that whisper within.
Paranoia and folly give birth to the fall,
A circus of chaos behind every wall.
Toasts filled with laughter, then silence and shame,
Still, under the madness, the soul stays the same.
For those yet unborn who will rise in our stead,
For kings without crowns and queens long misled.
The dragon still burns, yet its fire can console,
It warms generations, it nourishes soul.
Today is for mercy, today is for grace,
For love to return, and for light to embrace.
Today we remember the gods we forgot,
And Lucifer waiting — or maybe he's not.
‘Colitas de ranas’ still stitch up the pain,
‘Sopita de pollo’ flows soft through each vein.
Liberty whispers — to many or few,
But hope is a memory I once knew.
